WHAT THE SELLER LOVES
When we found our home at 38 Holmehurst we immediately fell in love with the beautiful, tree lined street and variety of old houses. The neighborhood is adorable, and each house is unique in its own way. Our house is nicely updated but still has that great character of a mid-century home.
What we love about most our home is the beautiful, private backyard and new screen porch. We spent many nights out back watching sunsets, sipping wine, and having a fire pit with our amazing neighbors. It backs up to the Children's Home property which is designated as a forest buffer so will always have beautiful trees and woods for privacy and shade. It is also fully fenced in which is great for the dogs and kiddos.
UPDATES AND FEATURES
In 2017, we added a beautiful master bathroom upstairs with a walk-in shower, double vanity, quartz countertop, and make-up vanity. In 2018 we added a new patio, back door, and large screened in porch equipped with a tv mount for all those tailgate parties. Also, in 2018 we added new flooring to the basement family room.

Our Holmehurst neighborhood is great for everything from happy hours and play dates, to snow day parties and bonfires. We can always count our on neighbors when we need an extra cup of sugar, someone to check in on our cat while we are away, or an extra set of hands to lift something heavy.
It truly is a community feel on Holmehurst. Every year the community association holds a charity event, summer picnic, holiday party, and neighborhood clean-up day, among other events. This year we even did a socially distanced 4th of July kid's parade!
LOVE LIVING IN CATONSVILLE
Some things we love about living in Catonsville is the great downtown (in walking distance!), the 4th of July festivities, Frederick Road Fridays, and the overall small-town feel. Some of our favorite restaurants in the area are GL Shacks, Farmhouse Greens, Catonsville Gourmet, and Franco's Italian Bistro (all within walking distance!).
The Grocery store we use is Giant on Wilkens Ave or Sam's Club. We moved to Baltimore County because of its great location near Baltimore City. Catonsville has a small town feel with all the urban amenities and is only a short 15 minute drive to Baltimore City. In Catonsville the downtown has lots of great new restaurants and shops, including B Boutique, Poppy & Stella, State Fare, El Guapo, and the new 818 Market.
